Ontario Employment Standards Inspection Blitz beginning October 2013 focuses on Retail

Ontario's Ministry of Labour will be targeting retail operations from October to December 2013 as part of its employment standards inspections blitz. Operations such as gas stations, retail chains, convenience store franchises/chains and other retail/grocery will be included. September is proving to be a busy month. We are conducting HR Audits, drafting Employee Handbooks, recruiting, conducting leadership training and continuing to provide timely HR advice on employee relations matters including terminations, hiring, etc. In October we'll be attending the Impact99 HR Summit and are looking forward to bringing our clients useful trends and tools we learn.
