3.7 per cent average increase to starting salaries in professional occupations in 2015 via Canadian HR Reporter

There are minimum wage increases that will took effect in four jurisdictions effective October 1, 2014

·   In Manitoba , the minimum wage will increase from the current rate of $10.45 per hour to $10.70 per hour.

·   In Newfoundland and Labrador , the minimum wage will increase from the current rate of $10.00 per hour to $10.25 per hour.

·   In Prince Edward Island , the minimum wage will increase from the current rate of $10.20 per hour to $10.35 per hour.

·   In Saskatchewan , the minimum wage will increase from the current rate of $10.00 per hour to $10.20 per hour.
